Water Well Pumps
For dependable water supply from the ground up, American Pump & Drilling is the trusted name for water well pump systems across Eastern Idaho, Western Wyoming, and Southern Montana. With decades of experience and a full range of in-house capabilities, we design, install, and service well pump systems for residential, agricultural, municipal, commercial, and industrial applications.
A properly installed water well pump is critical to the performance and longevity of your overall system. Whether you’re drilling a new well or replacing aging equipment, we work closely with homeowners, farmers, utility departments, and contractors to ensure every pump is properly sized and installed for the specific water source and demand.
We offer a wide selection of pump types, including deep well turbine pumps, submersible turbine pumps, and submersible house pumps, and we pair them with pressure tanks, control systems, and Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs) to build efficient, reliable water delivery systems.
We perform nearly all work in-house, with minimal outsourcing—if any. Our Motor Shop allows us to rewind and rebuild AC electric motors, while our machine shop supports custom pump repairs, fabrication, and rebuilds. Our specialized fleet of pump rigs ensures efficient installation and removal, even for deep or complex wells.
We also provide a full suite of testing and rehabilitation services, including flow testing, sand testing, and test pumping to evaluate well yield, diagnose performance issues, or prepare for pump sizing. For aging wells, we offer mechanical and chemical rehabilitation to restore output and extend system life.
